Yesterday I wrote (finally) about What Did I Learn From Digital Parents Conference, with the promise that I would continue today! I have been so busy trying to keep the kids cool…and stopping them from being in each others faces…by sitting at the pool nearly all day – yet a promise is a promise.

What Did I Learn From Digital Parents Conference 2012

This is so long over due…after attending the Digital Parents Conference in Melbourne I have been full on with my life and moving north! Actually David (hubby) forgot to tell me, or was that he kept it a secret, to the actually date of when we were leaving the Sunshine Coast until the day before we were due to leave!

It was my first time to Digital Parents Conference 2012, and I so hope it will not be my last time! I loved every minute – from meeting new bloggers that I am now following, to meeting up face2face with bloggers that I have been following but have never meet before. If you are a blogger than you so need to get a ticket to next year event (not yet as they are yet to organise next year event!)

When I started blogging (over four years ago) I had no idea what I was doing. First I started with Blogger and then moved over to a free wordpress blog. Once I started blogging with UWC Blog it soon become clear that I had outgrown the free blog platform

How To Tell Your Ready For A Paid Blog

Actually I didn’t realise that I was that far advanced for a Paid blog. Joining Sean Rasmussen Forum and receiving lots of support, guidance and honest feedback lead them to suggesting that instead of a free blog I should register my domain name and pay for hosting.

It was so good to practice with a free blog as I was able to make mistakes, learn from them, and move on without wasting money!

I have never been so scared in all of my life – I did not realise that I was ready to take the next step – and if I was honest I didn’t want to take such a big jump on over.

Being Grateful For This Blog

I am so very grateful.

The other day I was at the beach and the park, watching my boys have lots of fun. It got me to thinking about all that I have in my life, and all that keeps coming our way. Being Grateful for this Blog is high up on my list of all that I love in my life.

Learn To Take Time Out

It has now become really important for Time-Out from life. From Blogging and fron online world. Learn To Take Time Out is now high on my to do list

Learning To Relax

I put all of my eggs into one basket and forget to have fun, do you do that to? I guess because I am a Mum, a full-time blogger, and homeschooling while we travel that I am spread far (and too thinly!). I am now making March my month to take time out and relax doing things that make me feel better.

The other day I looked at our boys Ripstik and I was determined to learn how to ride. It is not something that I thought about – I just was determined to give it a go and before I knew it I was able to stand up and ride it.

Of course I still cant work out how to stand on it and start without holding onto a pole/table. But I am having fun…every-time I go out to put the washing on the line, or take it off, I am jumping onto the Ripstik for a few laps around the tables. The balancing act, and the movements take a lot of self control. Its a fine art – staying up right, moving forward and turning corners.
